  • Is your pest control work pet and child safe?

We use the latest and most effective methods of pest control, the vast majority of which are pet and child friendly. However, there are some instances where children and animals may be required to be kept away from the active treatment areas, as the pest control methods used may involve some potentially harmful chemicals. Our technicians are trained to advice and bring the highest level of safety to our customers, and you can feel reassured that you and your family will be in safe, professional hands.

  • Are chemical insecticides the only treatment for cockroach infestation?

Cockroaches love to hide in hard-to-reach crevices, and can be difficult to eradicate. A cockroach infestation must be treated professionally to prevent contamination and the spread of food poisoning illnesses.

There are several steps to eliminating cockroaches. After an initial survey, it’s important to remove any sources of food and water for the cockroaches, so encourage them to become more active in their search and increase the probability of contact with insecticides. These insecticides should be placed where the cockroaches hide, applied regularly throughout their lifecycle and then on a weekly basis. Sticky traps are useful to site in and around large appliances (eg kitchen or boiler room equipment), pipes and electrical ducts.
